Since the start of the year there's a topic which keep popping up on email lists and in the office. This being Generator. This seems to be very popular with Senior Managers, you can register for a Generator account at http://www.generatorfeandskills.com/. You will need to allocate a primary user for your learning Provider this is a management role. Once you have signed up with Generator this will allow you complete a review this can either be a quick or full review
Generator is a powerful and flexible tool which can be used:
collaboratively across teams, departments and sites
to inform planning
to support management information systems
and even to benchmark your organisation across the sector.
Generator provides us with the strategic framework to review the college’s technology capability in three themes:

E -Confident and Effective Provider
After a very successful training session this week at the Science Park I feel that the take up of the Generator will get more over the coming months as this will provide the learning providers with good feedback to start analysing their own results.
